April/May is my favorite time of the year. The trees that have looked dead for many months suddenly spring to life and beautiful blossoms burst almost overnight. Here a few pics of some of the beauties I saw the other day and just couldn't resist sharing them on my blog. The first is a branch from our oversized and ever-spreading "Yellow Banks Rose" bush. Good thing we placed this sucker somewhere where it can just grow itself crazy. The second shot is from one of our trellis-climbing trumpet vines. Funny, the other vines are doing well but have yet to produce any flowers. This one, however, is flowering all over the place. And 3rd is some of the pretty purple flowers we planted last year that have come back in splendid form this year. Yeah, for spring!
